IntroductionOnce installed by our personnel, your MySite is configured using its Control Panel. With the Control Panel, you may add, remove or update content, navigation, header, browser title, email contacts and resources. Furthermore, you may do so from any Internet-connected computer, anywhere on Earth, and without having to install any special software.
Throughout this documentation are screenshots, overlaid with red arrows, marking elements of the screen relevant to the preceding instructions. To view the screenshot, simply click on the thumbnail (small, preview image) below many paragraphs.
The Control Panel
To access the Control Panel, simply click the Control Panel link at the bottom of any page of your MySite.
But first, you must log in using the credentials you have been provided. This is a security mechanism that keeps unauthorized people from modifying your MySite.
Usually, your username is your first initial, followed by your last name. Example: John Smith = jsmith. Your initial password is "Antioch0".
Note the "Reset Password" link. If you ever forget your password, clicking on this link will email a new password to you.
Once logged in, please note the five sections of the Control Panel: Content/Navigation, Contacts, Site Properties, My Profile, Resources.
